Akshay Sood, MD, MPH, Tenured Prof. and Dir. of Mentoring and Faculty Retention Activities at School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs and Career Development, is the principal investigator and chairs the administrative component of this grant.
Beth Tigges, PhD, Co-investigator and Associate Professor, UNM College of Nursing chairs the evaluation component of this grant as well as oversees the creation and modification of all surveys and instruments. Sanjeev Arora, M.D., Co-Investigator, Professor and Founder and Director of Project ECHO, oversees all aspects of the inter-institutional Project ECHO tele-mentoring program and its services, including development, technology, and communication with stakeholders. Brian Soller, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Health Administration and Policy at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County oversees the application of social network principles for analyzing the developmental network analysis. Nora Dominguez, Ph.D., Director of the UNM Mentoring Institute at the UNM Main Campus is a professional consultant at UNM Health Sciences Center for this project. She is developing and implementing coursework for the Project ECHO telementoring clinic and analyzing developmental networks. Orrin Myers, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Consultant from the University of New Mexico's Clinical Translational Science Center Biostatistics Support Unit, is responsible for quantitative statistical analysis. Deborah Helitzer, Sc.D., Co-investigator, Professor and Dean of the College of Health Solutions, Arizona State University (ASU). She oversees the mentoring initiatives at ASU, and helps recruit mentors and mentees at that institution. Natasha Mickel, Ph.D., Co-investigator at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center site and the Site Principal Investigator, oversees the grant-related mentoring initiatives at that institution. Valerie N. Williams, Ph.D., Collaborator at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs & Faculty Development supports mentors and mentees and customizes the mentor development program to the local environment of the participating institution. Brandt Wiskur, Ph.D., Study Coordinator and Director of Institutional Research and Mentoring at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center helps recruit and support mentor mentee dyads in the study from that institution. |
